The wounds of the mind

In the life time of man,

Man must always make room

For his seasons of sunshine

And his seasons of gloom

He must always be prepared

Throughout all of his fears,

To cope with laughter and happiness,

And with sadness and tears

And just as sure as the seasons

For they all come and go,

Time will be the great healer

Of the wounds of sorrow

And in time the wounds of the heart reveal

That wounds of the mind take longer to heal
